Retired team members

It is said that a job at Totally Degu is for life – here is the page dedicated to past employees who have since retired – they are very much missed.

Past Employees

  • Moriaty

    Co-founder of Totally Degu, Mori was the brains of the operation.

  • Flump

    Co-founder of Totally Degu, Flump carried out all the work.

  • Trouble

    Trouble was only with us a few months, whilst he was here he was the company joker.

  • Usain (Bolt)

    Usain lived fast, worked fast and retired too early.

  • Pollox

    Logistics was not just a job for Pollox but also a hobby. Stuff piled everywhere in his cage.

  • Mole

    Mole was a friendly team player at Totally Degu. He was missed by everyone when he retired.

  • Rizzo

    Rizzo was not a natural team player but he grew to be an important employee at Totally Degu.

  • Ben

    Ben’s difficult early years left him very destructive, we saw that he could be a perfect product tester……he was very happy with us!

  • Jerry

    Jerry had some bad jobs in the past, but loved his time at Totally Degu.

  • Tubbs

    Tubbs spent the early part of her life sleeping rough in a car park in Manchester. Her kind foster parents looked after her, before she left home to come work for us in public relations.

  • Castor

    Flump took Castor under his wing when he started at Totally Degu. Castor ended succeeding Flump as CEO.

  • Littl'un

    Littl’un had several jobs before starting at Totally Degu. He had always had trouble working with others but eventually he found his place with us.

  • Rocky

    Rocky succeeded Castor as CEO. Rocky left Totally degu as he started as an apprentice…….biting. He was the alpha Degu all the others looked up to…….or else!

  • Rex

    Rex came to work for us after four years in another industry. He made CEO with Totally Degu and after 6.5 years with us he earned a long retirement

  • Alan

    After many years of miserably working for Totally Degu in charge of operations, Alan has now entered retirement, but is just as miserable as when he was working.

  • Pebble

    Pebbles enjoyed his time working at Totally Degu, but moved area to join another company and expand his career prospects.

  • Ginger

    Ginger liked his own company and kept mostly to himself which made him perfect to eventually become CEO. After a few years of making top down decisions and ignoring the needs of the other staff members he went off to solitary retirement.

  • Thelma

    Thelma didn't much like working life and after only a few years with us she opted for early retirement. During her time with us she made many friends and was very much missed when she went.

  • Scrambella

    Scrambella or 'Bella' as everyone called her was very popular amongst the Totally Degu team. Everyone was very upset when she suddenly left.

  • Badger

    Now we don't have favorite employees here at Totally Degu towers, but if we did, Badger would be the one. His retirement was a shock to us all.

  • Tarzan

    Tarzan was a people Degu and loved his job at Totally Degu. Unfortunately due to several health conditions he was unable to carry on working and had to take early retirement.
